The Master aims at:

  1. Provision of academic knowledge in the field of Environmental Communication and further development of Ecotherapy and Health Promotion knowledge
  2. Conducting research studies and promoting the introduction of innovative epidemiological research programs.
  3. Highlighting the applications of Environmental Communication in the fields of Ecotherapy and Health Promotion.
  4. Development of new technologies research in the field of Ecotherapy and Health Promotion.
  5. Evaluation of advanced and complex concepts, science of communication approaches and methods with particular reference to the inter/ intradisciplinary problems and approaches found in the scientific literature.
  6. Implementing the appropriate design for quantitative and qualitative empirical research, selecting appropriate research methods for data collection and analysis and demonstrating the ability to identify needs for new theoretical, methodological and practical approaches.
  7. Promoting the cooperation of the trainees with professionals, scientists, policy makers and general public and the implementation of oral and written studies based on the work in an interdisciplinary team.
  8. Promoting the initiation of constructive interdisciplinary discussions and collaborations within and between various social and scientific organizations and professions.
  9. Critical analysis of how different knowledge, communications and practices of health, wellness and healthcare are used to shape and organize the lives of individuals, groups and populations.
  10. Evaluate the tools used in scientific and social approaches for understanding, mediating, advocating health and well-being and designing innovative ways to bridge these approaches.
  11. Educating scientists with the necessary skills for successful careers in the private, public and academic sectors, for the prevention and promotion of Public Health.
  12. Contributing to health system upgrading and cooperation between private and public sector.
  13. Preparation for future PhD studies.
